STANFORD, Calif. – The Cal Poly women's cross country team led by Leanne Fogg finished third on Saturday at the Stanford Invitational with 139 points.
Cal Poly trailed host Stanford in first place with 24 points and UC Davis in second with 138 points.
Fogg had her third solid outing of the season with a 10th place finish and a time of 20:57.
The senior was followed by a host of freshman led by Meghan Breadmore in 14th place and a time of 21:10 followed by Tanswy Lystad in 26th and a time of 21:35.
Freshman Savannah Pio was the fourth Mustang to cross the line in 41st and a time of 21.52.
Senior Courtney Kostrikin was the final scoring Mustang in 48th and a time of 22:03.
Other Mustangs competing in the meet included freshman Ashley Bergstrom in 53rd (22:07) and sophomore Heather Wilson in 59th (22:11).
