Cal Poly’s Bryn Bacharach Collects Singles Consolation Title October 5, 2015 During the three-day Cal Nike Invitational over the weekend, Cal Poly women's tennis turned in several solid performances, including a singles consolation title by senior Bryn Bacharach (pictured) on Sunday afternoon at Channing Courts. Bacharach defeated UC Santa Barbara freshman Kyla Jarrar in a tiebreaker, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0(7) to capture the White ITA Singles Consolation championship. [read more]
Cal Poly Travels to Cal Nike Invitational to Begin Fall Season September 29, 2015 The Cal Poly women's tennis program opens its four event fall schedule this weekend when traveling north to take part in the three-day Cal Nike Invitational in Berkeley, Calif. Stone, Tsugai Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Recognition July 17, 2015 Two members of the Cal Poly women’s tennis program received Scholar-Athlete honors from the ITA for the 2015 spring academic season. Cal Poly’s Oxnevad Selected to All-Big West First Team April 28, 2015 The Cal Poly women’s tennis team placed one singles players on the All-Big West First Team and another doubles pair earned an Honorable Mention status, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Mustang redshirt-sophomore Louise Oxnevad won five solo matchups in the No. 1 singles spot this season, on her way to First Team distinction, while the combination of Oxnevad and junior Dane Joubert collected Honorable Mention doubles team praise.
Eighth-Seeded Cal Poly Eliminated by Long Beach State April 24, 2015 The Cal Poly women’s tennis team had its stay in the Big West Conference Tournament ended after a 4-0 loss to top-seeded Long Beach State during the quarterfinal round on Friday morning at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Cal Poly finishes the season 5-16 overall, having won two out of its final three matches, while the 49ers advanced to the semifinal round on Saturday.
Eighth-Seeded Cal Poly Overwhelms UC Riverside, 4-0 April 23, 2015 The Cal Poly women’s tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big West Conference Tournament after a 4-0 win over UC Riverside during the opening round on Thursday morning. The Mustangs – who entered the tournament as the eighth seed – advanced to the second round on Friday to take on first-seeded Long Beach State (No. 40 in most recent ITA rankings) after defeating UC Riverside for the second time in less than a week.

The match was a makeup due to a rainout on Feb. 22, as the Mustangs used four singles triumphs to earn their first road win of the season.
Cal Poly Falls on Road to UCSB, 4-0 April 18, 2015 The Cal Poly women’s tennis team had no answer for the 63rd-ranked UC Santa Barbara Gauchos on Saturday morning, falling 4-0 during Big West Conference play in Santa Barbara. With the loss, the Mustangs fall to 0-7 in conference play, while UCSB improves to 6-2.
