Blog No. 5 from Kristina Santiago
Today we started off by enjoying a delicioso breakfast, and then headed down to the local farmers market. Quite different from SLO, this farmer's market was filled with fruits and vegetables we have never seen. In partners, we were given a fruit native to this land that we have never tried. Everyone had to find their given fruit using our magnificent espanol, which for me consisted of a lot of pointing, and buy enough to share with the whole group later at lunch. Carol, our amazing tour guide, took us around and educated us on all the stands and what they were selling.
