Cal Poly led the Big Sky Conference and Football Champion-ship Subdivision in rushing offense a year ago. Slotback Kristaan Ivory led the charge, becoming the 16th Mustang in program history to crack the 1,000-yard mark in a single season. There is no reason to believe that Ivory and the Mustangs cannot accomplish the same feats in 2014.

Cal Poly senior Sullivan Grosz has been named Football Championship Subdivision Defensive Tackle of the Year by College Football Performance Awards. The Big Sky Conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Year made 188 tackles (103 solo stops) in his four-year Mustang career, including 22 sacks.
