High School -- Rushed for 1,288 yards and 15 touchdowns and added 266 receiving yards as a senior under head coach Tony Uruburu at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in 2008 ... Panthers finished 4-6 overall and 2-3 in the Bay League ... gained 334 yards and scored five touchdowns against Mira Costa, including 191 yards in the fourth quarter alone ... a second-team All-Bay League selection, team MVP and was invited to play in the Lions Club All-Star Football Game ... as a junior cornerback, notched 54 tackles (20 solo) and intercepted two passes ... also lettered four years in track and field with the 100, triple jump and long jump as his specialties ... earned team MVP honors as a junior and qualified for the CIF-Southern Section division prelims as a freshman, sophomore and junior ... holds school record as part of sprint medley relay team ... named school’s athlete of the year in 2008 ... visited Cal Lutheran and the University of San Diego before choosing Cal Poly.
