2011: Appeared in a total of 13 games on the mound, compiling 3-5 record and 4.26 ERA as a junior southpaw … combined on two shutouts, teaming with starter Mason Radeke on a 10-0 win at Long Beach State and with Chase Johnson and Taylor Chris on an 11-0 victory over Valparaiso … scattered five hits with four strikeouts in six innings for win as starter against Valparaiso … posted a win and 1.15 ERA in his first three appearances on the mound … struck out 29 batters and walked 15 in 44.1 innings … in addition to Valparaiso, earned wins against Santa Clara (five scoreless innings, four strikeouts) and Stanford (one run, five hits in six innings) … allowed one run and five hits in six innings in 1-0 loss at Oklahoma State … matched his career high with six strikeouts in 6.1 innings against Fresno State ... 3-1 and 2.14 ERA in night games but 0-4 and 10.97 ERA under the sun ... opponents hit .258 at night and .431 during the day against Anderson … played summer ball for Walla Walla Sweets in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League, which finished second to Corvallis … compiled 1-2 record and 2.31 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 39 innings.
