A four-year letterwinner in football, Dana Nafziger was a three time All-California Collegiate Athletic Association selection.
During his Cal Poly career, Dana finished with 63 receptions for 882 yards and six touchdowns. Dana led Cal Poly in receiving as a sophomore with 30 receptions for 498 yards and two touchdowns, the seventh-best single season performance in team history. As a senior, Dana was named a Division II All-American.
Considered one of the best blocking receivers to ever play at Cal Poly, Dana later took his talents to the National Football League where he was a linebacker and special teams captain with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1977-1982.
Dana owns and operates a business in San Luis Obispo where he resides with his wife and two children.
