Bill Saylor began his career with Mustang Athletics in December of 2003 as the Special Events Coordinator.
Saylor coordinates the Mustang Corral Pre-Game Tailgate, the Mustang Corral Basketball Tent Reception, the annual Cal Poly Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony, the annual Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction and assists the various teams with the planning and coordination of individual fundraising and alumni reunion events.
Saylor is a 1986 graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in recreation administration and a 1975 graduate of Oceanside High School, Oceanside, California.
Prior to his time here at Cal Poly, Saylor served as the CEO/Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of North SLO County in Paso Robles, Calif., for 12 years and for 13 years at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, where he held several positions including the being the Executive Director.
Bill and wife, Alicia have two grown daughters. The oldest, Bethany, is married to Mike Jennings and they have two children, Madison and Kaleb. Their youngest daughter is Jenna.
