2009: Redshirt ... expected to back up the outfielders this spring ... in summer ball played in just two games and was 1-for-7 (.143) with the DuPage Dragons (26-28) of the Central Illinois Collegiate League before suffering an injury.

Prep: Hit .511 as a junior and .433 as a senior under head coach Fred Warrecker at Santa Barbara High ... helped Dons to Channel League titles in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and a combined 60-22 win-loss record ... a three-year starting shortstop, Denver drove in 21 runs with seven doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs as a senior, stealing 23 of 28 bases and a 5.64 on-base percentage ... in junior season knocked in 32 runs, stole 19 of 20 bases and collected nine doubles and six home runs ... hit .333 as a sophomore with six doubles, 15 RBIs and 12 steals in 15 attempts ... twice earned firsts-team All-Channel League honors ... visited Pacific before choosing Cal Poly.
