Cal Poly Athletics hosts giveaways and promotions for Mustang fans for nearly every sport. Below is a list of upcoming promotions for 2012-13, listed by sport. Mustang Marketing Crew
You've no doubt seen them at a Cal Poly football, soccer,
volleyball, wrestling, basketball, baseball and softball. They sell
programs, throw T-shirts and hand out freebies as you enter the
venue. Our crew consists of Cal Poly students who intern for the
Athletics Marketing and Communications Office.
The Mustang Marketing Crew assists the Athletics Department in
marketing and game day operations at Cal Poly ticketed sporting
events. Our interns gain valuable sports marketing and game day
operation experience in a collegiate athletics environment. True to
Cal Poly's Learn by Doing philosophy, our student interns gain
real-world experience that will build their resume so that they are
ready to work on day one of their career.
In addition to game day operations and marketing, our interns
are coordinators of community programs, oversee our official spirit
group - The Mustang Maniacs - they develop marketing plans and
innovative promotions, are responsible for various aspects of
social media, and they serve as the backbone of how Athletics stays
current and relevant to our student body.
Athletics is looking for outgoing, self-starters who want to
